Hello there,
It's been a while, hasn't it? What have we been doing all this time? Quite A LOT! It's just that we use our sub sites more often than this one, and probably by next year, this main site will also get revamped.
Well, 2010 brought to us "Roachfar", an ambitious extension of our first film, "Cerritosis". This film is by far our best film put together. Yet it's still in post production and continues to improve as more talent gravitates our way. We will have it completed by late this summer. Check out its progress by clicking here!
Also, after a big demand, we'll be bringing you more "Mr. Serial Killer" episodes! That's right! Episode 2, 3, 4, 5 are in pre production and will be heading into principal photography in a matter of months! Haven't seen episode 1 yet? Check it out!
Furthermore, we continue to promote "In Darkness" and "Zarb", and I'm sure more news relating those projects will begin to trickle in soon enough.
Suffice to say, 2010 will be our biggest year ever. What awaits us in 2011? A long, long period of promoting all our projects.
Best,
Steven

| What's this? An update?
Well, you're probably noticing the numerous new fancy banners dangling about. That's because we're beginning to promote our newest project, a web series of absurdist proportions. The web series, titled 'Zarb' after the peculiar lead, is the weirdest thing you will ever witness. But don't trust my word for it, see the teaser!
And please, comment! We love your feedback!
Soon to follow a release schedule for the web series' first season and the launch of my forever-in-the-making Eloquent Assassin films. Be sure to also check out 'In Darkness' in HD! It's something we'll be doing from now on; strictly HD releases for all out titles!
So long and take care!
Steven

| NEWS: Starting 2009 with a BANG! |
|
Well, it’s not really much of a bang, as some of the following is weeks old. Nevertheless it’s still news.
First off, you can see a live audience voice their feedback after viewing ‘In Darkness’. Check it out by clicking here.
Personally I concur with most of the opinions floating about. However it’s pretty neat to see a wave of new perspectives and appreciation brought forth by many of the attendees. Many thanks go out to Wildsound for screening the film and posting up the feedback session afterwards. Obscure Horror and ‘In Darkness’? That sounds like the perfect tagline for this short flick. All clever observations aside, ObscureHorror.com has a small snippet on ‘In Darkness’. Check it out by clicking here.
And lastly, Milos Jovanovic from Horrortalk.com and Horrordvdtalk.com reviews ‘In Darkness’. This isn’t the first time that Milos has reviewed a film directed by yours truly. Remember ‘Cerritosis'? Check out the review by clicking here.
Many thanks go out to Milos for taking the time to put forth a concise review of the film. Steven Cerritos

And now, our French friends from www.horreur.com review ‘In Darkness’ and ‘Cerritosis’. You can check out the ‘Cerritosis’ review by clicking here , and the ‘In Darkness’ review by clicking here.
As a filmmaker, it’s rewarding to see film enthusiasts embrace these short films. Hopefully it’s a trend that continues on.

If you haven't check out www.independentscene.com interview with the filmmaker's from 'In Darkness', you can do so by clicking here.Big props to IS for the cool interview! Secondly, if you're in Toronto on the 25th, make sure to attend the Wild Sound Film Festival at the National Film Board. Doors open at 6:30pm, and the show starts at 7pm. They will be screening 'In Darkness' near the second half of the night. The crew from the film will also be in attendance. So come on down and check it out! Moving on, anyone from the Tampa Bay area? If so, check out the Halloween Horror Picture Show at the beach theatre. They'll be screening 'In Darkness' on the 26th of October around 4:30pm. This is their second year and I believe the show has gotten tremendously better with its second time around. Info can be found at www.halloweenhorrorpictureshow.com or at http://www.beachtheatre.com/hhps.htmlAnd lastly, if you still haven't seen the film, check it out by clicking here! 'In Darkness' to be screened at the Wild Sound Film Festival. On October 25 th, if you’re in the Toronto area, come on down to the Wild Sound Film Festival to check out the first screening of ‘In Darkness’. They’re the fastest growing short film festival in the world and the event promises to be quite eventful as it’s being billed as the ‘Giggle and Screams Night’. With Halloween right around the corner, you’ll get to watch a couple of comedic and horror short films, while catching up with the cast and crew of ‘In Darkness’. Info on the festival can be found here. See you on the 25th!

| NEWS: Rogue Cinema Reviews In Darkness |
|
The first review for In Darkness is out and it’s a great one. Personally, I find that it’s difficult to articulate much about In Darkness because of its experimental premise and the various abstract themes that the film explores. However, the reviewer, Duane L. Martin, did a wonderful job in thoroughly reviewing the film while taking into consideration the film's poetic premise and its experimental structure. If you’ve seen the film and you’re looking for clarity or another person’s interpretation of the film, be sure to read Rogue Cinema’s review of In Darkness. You can read the review by clicking here.
If you have yet to see the film, be sure to visit our new release section as it's still available for public consumption.
Thank you!
